There are two kinds of shipping costs when using our services, local shipping and International shipping. You will only be billed for actual shipping costs, however there may be an additional handling fee in exceptional circumstances*.
As soon as your successful auction ends we will be in touch with the seller to arrange local shipping to our office. Depending on the type of goods and location of the seller there are usually several options, we will almost always choose the most economical method. In our experience the majority of sellers are very prompt and we typically receive your goods within 3-4 days, sometimes even quicker.
During this time we will contact you by email and ask you about your preferred shipping method. Please refer to the Japan Post website to obtain approximate costs for the various shipping methods. We ship by : EMS - Express Packages are insured against loss and damage and can be tracked. Economy air (SAL) - Insured up to 31000 yen, takes on average 7-10 days longer than EMS Printed matter/small packet rates - Usually the most economical method for goods under 2kg and surprisingly fast but packages are uninsured. Surface mail - Slow but most economical way to send large/heavy items. In most cases if you don't specify a shipping method we will ship by EMS.
When the goods arrive at our office we will calculate the International shipping costs based on the size and weight of the package and email you an invoice for the total cost. When we are able to confirm full payment for the goods (by PayPal or your chosen payment method) your goods will be dispatched.

In our experience these times are conservative and our customers in Europe and North America have reported receiving their goods significantly sooner than they expected.
*If you bid on multiple items, at your request we will combine your items and send them to you in a single shipment to save you on the shipping cost. There is a standard $3 fee for this service. The same fee applies should your item(s) require any special packing and/or re-packing for International shipping.
